The Headmaster – Harry Potter CAL

Dumbledore is the wise, warm and very loved headmaster of Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! If you are a fan then you have seen him and awed at his power and vast intelligence while cherishing every moment that you were able to spend with him. (or maybe that’s just me)

I was a bit challenged with this design. How was I suppose to keep his long hair and beard similar yet distinctly different? How was I suppose to get his wise eyes to come across correctly? But after some pondering and play I have to say that I love how he turned out.

I made my Dumbledore square in c2c with an H hook and Red Heart Super Saver Yarns in buff for his skin, charcoal grey for his glasses, light grey for his hair, heather grey for his beard, black for his eyes and blue and white for his hat. If your squares are disjointed, grab a piece of extra yarn in the color you need and sew around the corner and then weave in your ends, like in the picture below. This may happen around Dumbledore’s glasses, because you will be working at a different angle at some point in the square.
