Who is Draco Malfoy? Throughout most of the series he was a rude little prat but as he got older and He Who Must Not Be Named came back into power you could see that the rude little boy was now just a scared little boy. Where at one time his family was on top of the Wizarding World now they were being controlled by one of the scariest beings alive.
Malfoy is pretty simple and works up rather fast. For his colors I used, buff for his skin, black for his eyes and cape, yellow for his hair and white for his shirt. For his tie I used black and green however a good friend told me after I hooked him up that I should’ve used grey in place of the black here and I have to say she is right but I was not about to frog him once he was all done. Just like in the previous squares instead of the common C2C method of double crochets and chain 3s, I used hdcs and only chained 2. Which means I chained 5 instead of 6 on the increase stitches. Doing this with a smaller H hook has my finished squares measuring approximately 15×15 inches.
Don’t forget to add a small sc border around each of your squares before putting them together. I sc around the entire square changing colors to match the square itself. If you look really close you can see this in my pictures. This gives you a good clean place to add your border. I do the next border in the same color that I will be attaching the square in. I just think it makes it look nice and clean.
If you have never done c2c there are a ton of tutorials out there on YouTube. As always, you can check out my video tutorials at the top of the page, for short videos that show each step of working up a graph in c2c. For a longer video about the basic c2c check out the one by Mikey over at The Crochet Crowd!
