Happy New Year!

It is a few days into 2018, and I wanted to say hello to everyone since I have been a little absent lately. I still haven’t picked a hook up in a long time and don’t plan on doing it again in the near future, but honestly my hands are really grateful for that. You can still find all of my designs on Ravelry and Craftsy as well as the free patterns here on the blog.

I have been spending a lot of time cutting vinyl decals for my Etsy shop, creating fun custom t-shirts for my boys and other crafty stuff like this cute cup for my youngest’s bus driver.

I have also been spending more time with my sewing machine and made some really cute Christmas gifts for my great nieces! They each got a Mini Necessary Clutch with a long strap, which made the perfect little handbag for them both. Pattern by Emmaline Bags. And I had to make matching Clematis Wristlets just for fun! Pattern by Blue Calla Patterns. I really need to work on my topstitching but I really enjoyed making them both. I used some awesome tutorials by Debby Hunker over on YouTube to help me with these! Her videos are awesome and I highly recommend checking them out!

This year I pan on doing all kinds of fun crafts and learning some new things and hope to share them with you. I am trying my hand at paper piecing after seeing some amazing pieces on Instagram. This was my first attempt and I think I did pretty well. I have done quilting before and honestly this makes it so much easier to get those bits all lined up. This was a free pattern by My Fabric Relish on Craftsy!  I see so many more pieces being done like this in the near future.
