My Minecraft Obsession…..It’s the Enderman

IMG_20150706_154656_wm

One of the scariest teleporting creatures in Minecraft this guy only attacks when provoked, but when they do watch out. They will chase you until you are dead or have extensive damage. The only thing to save you is the natural elements like rain, sun or fire. Enderman Graph Pattern

Creeper Face Graph

My Enderman was made with Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Perfect Pink, Amethyst and Black and an I hook. Again this square can be created in many different ways, whether it’s knit or crochet you just need to be able to read the graph and change colors.

In order to read the graph I start at the bottom right. I count out the squares to figure out the length of my chain. These graphs are are all 50 squares by 50 squares, so you will need to chain 51 to start. You can find a fun and easy tutorial on How to Crochet a Graph right here on my blog.

The Enderman is pretty quick working seeing as how there are so few color changes, but make sure you are counting those stitches, we all know black is a pain in the rear to work with.

Tip: When doing the first row, crochet in the bottom loop of the chain. This gives you a more finished edge for your trim and it makes it more flexible for blocking.

To see more details on how to change colors, read a graph or do a graph in c2c please see the previous My Minecraft Obsession posts, such as the Creeper, the Pig or Steve!
