It’s been awhile since I have posted. I’m definitely more active on Instagram because the posts are quick and I don’t have to think as much about what I am posting.
While we all have had to reestablish our knew normal I have been busy baking, trying new recipes, woodworking and sewing (mainly masks) but I just didn’t know how to post those things while there was a big pink (Covid) elephant in the room.
Do I just post as usual and not confront the many issues that we are all facing right now or just stay Crafty Ridge and share all of the stuff I have been doing to keep me sane?
I have decided to do the later at least for now. No anxiety! No stress! But always ready for change.
I don’t know if you know much about me but I am a mom of 2 boys, 1 of which is a sophomore in college (which has looked weird this year due to covid) and also guardian to 2 of my nephews, one of which just graduated this last school year and has taken on the adult role of working full time really nicely.
At the moment I am homeschooling the younger 2 (a 7th grader and a junior in high school) through a program our local school is using, so my free time is limited and I have no clue what I am doing…..and of course that means that everyone thought it would be a great idea to get a puppy. (They forgot that means mom has to take care of it) So we are busy to say the least.

Lucky enough I have taken notes and lots of pictures of all of the stuff I did this summer and hope to throw some of those together so you can do some of this Crafty stuff too. I don’t know about you but working with my hands is the best therapy for the sometimes overwhelming anxiety that is always there.

I hope you will enjoy a bit of the new norm for us here at Crafty Ridge and take comfort in knowing I have no idea what I’m doing now either.
